Aloysius is a replica of the circa 1907 original bear, who starred in the 1981 Granada TV series of Brideshead Revisited.
Made of traditional, gold-blond mohair, he has black button eyes, felt paw pads and many hand-sewn patches, just as the original acquired after he was somewhat abused during the promotional tour of the film in America. Also like the old bear, he has a red felt mouth below his muzzle and comes with an original Daks-Simpson scarf. Made exclusively for Teddy Bears of Witney, Aloysius is softly pellet filled, and comes with a numbered certificate.
