Little Bonzo by R John Wright, Vermont USA

This is a brilliant, new reincarnation of the dog created by George E. Studdy, and which took the world by storm after first appearing in The Sketch in 1922. Made of (moulded) wool felt, he has finely hand-painted detail on his face, paw pads and body (as well as his red felt tongue). Fully jointed, he has a ball and socket joint in his neck making him extra-poseable. Little Bonzo wears a red leather collar with a custom-made, brass name tag.  (One of our photos shows him with a red felt heart, also made by R. John Wright. This is sold separately.) Little Bonzo comes with a certificate in a presentation box. A total joy – especially in this small size!
