Napping Bear by Hisa Kato, Japan

This bear, in Hisa Kato’s iconic primitive style, charming, naïve-style bear is inspired by the idea of a sick child needing to rest. Made of tie-dyed green viscose, with a white muzzle, has a hand-painted, moulded nose, aged, amber and black glass eyes and a distinctively pronounced tummy. A Sakura pink pillow, hand-dyed by Hisa, comes with him. Softly filled with wood shavings and weighted with steel shot. This is number 6 of a limited edition of 6, made exclusively for Teddy Bears of Witney.
