Teddy Bear by Invicta Toys Circa 1930/40s

Not the prettiest bear in the world but this big English bear has plenty of character. Made of (now faded) blond mohair, this large bear has clear and black glass eyes and Rexine (artificial leather) paw pads. The eyes and stitching are original. The mohair is thinned on the tummy and back. There is a small hole in the seam on his upper chest and another under his right arm where the disc joint is just visible. The back of his right food pad is unstitched to reveal his original kapok stuffing. No id on this bear remains (which is usual for those by Invicta Toys). Please note that there is £20 extra postage if sent outside the UK – this is towards the high volumetric weight postal charge.
